Just letting you all know that I'm still alive! Writing has been slow lately, mostly as I've been busy job hunting. totally not hunting in the new monster hunter game. nope. I would never forget to write because I was too busy playing games.
That said, I do want to ask you all, my lovely readers and followers, how you feel about me writing and posting some more stories that are similar to "The Sleeping Serpent"/"A Serpent's Den". Stories that might...contain some vore and lewd moments, but that don't focus on those exclusively? I have a few ideas for less-lewd stories that have some more...cute interactions and a few bits of vore, but I've been hesitant to write or post them since well, that's not what you all visit Eka's to read (c'mon, admit it. That's why I'm... [ Continued ... ]
I know it's been a bit since I've posted anything, but I'm not dead. I do intend to post some stuff now that holiday stress is mostly over, I've just been struggling to get out stuff that I feel is worth posting. Mostly more one shots, but I have a possible, vague idea for some longer things, though I doubt I have any more novel-length work coming for a while. Sorry to disappoint about that. Novel-length stories take a lot more brain power and time investment. Anyway, more things coming soon, just gotta get my head in the game.
thank you for your patience.

Really. I promise. Just between looking for work and some massive writer's block I just haven't gotten any good writing done. While I'm not a great writer, I do hold myself to a certain standard for work that I post, and what I have right now is half of one one-shot that is trash-tier writing right now. So bad that I actually scrapped it rather than continue it. Sorry I haven't been active lately. I am trying to get something written.

Seriously, I am still working on "A Serpent's Den". Its just been frustratingly slow. I'm so close to the end of the chapter, and I can't get this last bit of it to come out right. I must have re-written this one bit twice and am thinking about doing it a third time. please don't abandon hope, I am so close to finishing this story! *hopeful waggling of her arms and tail to make sure people stay*
Summer really does kill my writing motivation, as I always come up with my best ideas when I'm stuck in a class or something where I can't actually write. And I've been unmotivated as I haven't had the best luck with hunting for a summer job. But I WILL finish this story even if its the last thing I do!
Hang in there, my lovely readers, and stay sweet (and tasty~) ... [ Continued ... ]
Yup, I did! A couple weeks ago actually, I've just been laying low and taking things easy. News out of the way, though, I'm a bit stuck on the next chapter of "A Serpent's Den". Not because I don't know what I want to happen but because I'm afraid it'll be lackluster and unsatisfying to read. We are close to the end of the story (as it has been planned out at least) and now that I can actually put my full focus onto writing, it feels...kinda lame (the story idea, not the writing itself). Probably going to get some hate for writing sloppily or leaving a very lame ending to what amounts to a literal novel's length of a story...(did you know that? Google docs says that A Serpent's Den is over 248 pages long. the longest thing I have written by a huge amount).
anyway, this... [ Continued ... ]

Two more days to go before finals are done (as of time of writing). Thank you all for being patient with my release schedule with just how crazy the past few weeks have been and how much work (that isn't fun-writing) I've had to do. I promise I will get the next chapter of "A Serpent's Den" out ASAP once finals are over. I can't promise next Monday, but that is my goal. Now I need to go grab some espresso and cram another few chapters of studying in before my next exam.
Stay sweet (and tasty. And awesome)

I'm late with the chapter again. A million apologies. I actually have some time to work tonight (as of time of posting this blog post) for the first time in what feels like forever. College classes and life stress have just eaten motivation. I can probably squeak out a chapter this week, but that leaves me with a question for my audience: are you ok with me taking a hiatus after the next chapter? At least until college is over and I've graduated and I can dedicate my full attention to finishing up Kiea and Eliza's adventure?
I'm going to try and get this chapter done in the next two days. I miss the days when i had a backlog of chapters.
A million billion apologies from a very tired and worn out snek.
stay sweet (and tasty....snek wants food...)

Quick blog post and apology, I cant get a chapter out for Monday. College has been kicking my tail from here to hell and back. I've been so crunched for time I've even barely interacted with some of my friends, let alone had time to unwind and write. Well, I have been writing, but just papers for school and stuff. And as I'm approaching the end of the semester, things are just craaaazy with how many big final projects have to get done. I'm going to try and dedicate Saturday and Sunday night to some relaxation, but I doubt I'll have a whole chapter finished in just 2 days. I am very sorry to my regular readers as well as the new followers that my update schedule has been really screwed up this year so far, after last year's tame and regular updates. I'm really trying to finish this semester... [ Continued ... ]
Apologies, my lovely readers. This week's chapter has been delayed in editing. I'll be posting it tomorrow (April 16) as soon as it arrives in my inbox. Trans-dimensional mail usually isn't too slow, as long as the delivery driver doesn't get stuck, or take a left turn upwards and arrive in Middle Earth in the future.
Sorry, I just wanted to add a little spice to the otherwise bad news.
I'll see you all soon with the next chapter of "A Serpent's Den".
